NORCROSS, GA March 22, 2007 Simtrol, Inc. (OTCBB: SMRL), a leading provider of software solutions for device rich environments, today announced that Bill Joyce has joined its management team as Executive Vice President of Operations. Mr. Joyce has extensive experience managing complex operations for high growth companies.

"Simtrol has large market opportunities in several key verticals including healthcare and law enforcement where Bill's ability to help us scale will be invaluable," said Rick Egan, Simtrol Chief Executive Officer. "Bill's vast experience in scaling operations including software implementation, partner enablement and customer service will enable Simtrol to build the infrastructure required to meet the demand for our products."

"After evaluating several opportunities, I chose Simtrol due to its significant growth potential that can leverage my software industry expertise," said Mr. Joyce. "As numerous businesses such as healthcare and government agencies are looking for better ways to enable technology to increase their effectiveness, I am excited to be part of the Simtrol team to deliver a unique software solution to meet their needs."

Most recently, Mr. Joyce served as SVP Worldwide Professional Services for MARC Global, Inc., a provider of supply chain execution software to clients with highly complex supply chains. At MARC, Mr. Joyce managed multi-million dollar engagements with top retailers, suppliers to retail, and 8 of the top 10 pharmaceutical firms in the world. Mr. Joyce also managed strategic partnerships with top consulting firms in the space. Mr. Joyce's efforts resulted in dramatic improvements in revenue growth and profitability, resulting in the successful sale of the company to Francisco Partners/Red Prairie.

Prior to Marc Global, Mr. Joyce played a key role in building Manhattan Associates (NASDAQ: MANH) from a start-up to a public company with $200 million in sales and a $1 billion market capitalization. During his years at Manhattan, Mr. Joyce was responsible for professional services, overseeing hundreds of mission-critical software implementation projects, and was instrumental in scaling the organization and standardizing the companys delivery of software and services. Mr. Joyce was a key driver in the company's growth from 40 employees to over 1200, as well as the company's initial public offering. Mr. Joyce started his career in operations with Westinghouse Electric Corporation. He is an engineering graduate of Cornell University, and holds an MBA from Cornell's Johnson School of Management.

Mr. Joyce joins Simtrol's management team that includes the recently announced appointments of Rick Eaton as Senior Vice President of Sales, and Craig Reamsnyder as Senior Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Joyce's 20+ years of operational experience in the high growth software industry greatly complements Mr. Eaton's 25+ years of software sales and sales management experience and Mr. Reamsnyder's 25+ years of sales and marketing in the healthcare industry.
