NORCROSS, GA – Justice Digital Solutions LLC (JDS) – the Simtrol, Inc. (OTCBB: SMRL) and Integrated Digital Systems joint venture – today announced it has formed a strategic alliance with Mainline Information Systems, a leading IBM business partner headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida. Under this alliance, Mainline provides sales channel development as well as end-to-end solutions and services featuring Curiax Arraigner™, JDS’ digital arraignment solution.
Curiax Arraigner is a unified solution that tracks and records all prisoner case information—audio, video, documents, evidence, and electronic signatures into a digital case file that provides efficient processing from booking through arraignment and eliminates the inherent dangers associated with prisoner transport. The entire Arraigner solution pays for itself in approximately 12 to 18 months and continues to provide significant dollar savings and safety benefits for every year thereafter.
“The Curiax™ platform is a fantastic fit for Mainline because it complements our core strengths of providing strategic, turnkey, best-of-breed solutions,” said Dennis Gulkis, Mainline’s Director of Storage Initiatives. “With Mainline’s unique, flexible ’On Demand’ financing offerings and our unsurpassed experience with servers, storage, digital media and services, our customers find they can quickly move forward with multifaceted solutions that provide a high rate of return or are critical to their continued success.
“Our specialty is wrapping flexible financing packages around multifaceted solutions so our customers can immediately gain the benefits of implementing cost reducing solutions,” Gulkis added. “The success of the digital arraignment application at Oakland County, Michigan, and the excellent return on investment they are experiencing has Mainline anxious to offer the solution nationwide. This is an affordable solution that can benefit organizations across the country.”
Rick Egan, JDS’ Chief Executive Officer, added: “Because each of the country’s 3,141 counties is our potential customer, we looked for three key factors in choosing our national rollout partner. First, we needed an aggressive sales organization with a proven track record of success. Second, we wanted a partner with technical expertise in servers, software, storage and digital media, due to the complex and demanding nature of court systems. Third, we needed a world-class organization that engineers, implements and services its customers to the highest standards. In Mainline, we have a partner that excels in all these areas. As a 17-year IBM business partner, Mainline holds the distinction of being IBM’s number one partner in servers, storage, software, financing and services. Additionally, with a growing base of over 3,500 customers and over $500 million in revenue in 2005, they are a rapidly growing company that knows how to mobilize a great team around a strong opportunity. Needless to say, we could not be more pleased with this partnership and its potential for tremendous success.”
