NORCROSS, GA – Simtrol, Inc. (OTCBB: SMRL), a designer and developer of Windows-based control software solutions that enable enterprise-wide command, control, scheduling, monitoring and diagnostics of otherwise incompatible devices including audiovisual (“AV”), security and other communication assets, today announced that its newly signed reseller, Karcher Group, has purchased Simtrol’s OnGoer™ software for an application at NASA’s Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. The Stennis Space Center is NASA’s primary center for Rocket Propulsion Testing and home to NASA’s Applied Sciences Directorate.
At the Stennis Space Center, OnGoer is integrated with Altinex matrix switching hardware to handle large matrix switching operations for over 200 devices, including video cameras and video monitors, which are used to monitor rocket test facilities and provide remote video surveillance in a variety of situations. OnGoer allows the NASA engineering team to quickly shift the video matrix to any custom preset configuration, thus saving NASA time and money by efficiently utilizing the rocket test facility resources.
Chris Karcher, President of Karcher Group, commented: “The Simtrol software was well-suited for this application due to its open architecture and natural fit with the Altinex matrix switching hardware. Karcher Group looks forward to further leveraging Simtrol’s capabilities as we continually strive to bring the best solutions to our customers’ application needs.”
Rick Egan, Simtrol’s Chief Executive Officer, stated: “We are excited to add Karcher Group as a Simtrol reseller and are pleased that OnGoer’s inherent software flexibility helped NASA handle their switching and control needs at the Space Center. Karcher has a terrific reputation in our industry for providing quality solutions to their clients. We look forward to helping them grow their business by integrating OnGoer and OnGuard in new applications that bring value to their clients.”
