NORCROSS, GA – Simtrol, Inc. (OTCBB: SMRL), a designer and developer of Windows-based control software solutions that enable enterprise-wide command, control, monitoring and diagnostics of otherwise incompatible devices including audiovisual (“AV”), security and other communication assets, today announced it will license its OnGuard control and management software to Tech Electronics, Inc. (TEi) for use in its AxisTV dynamic visual messaging and digital signage applications.

AxisTV is a web-based visual management system that creates, manages and delivers dynamic content to thousands of digital signs, televisions and plasmas in a variety of environments including casinos, retail malls, airports, churches, banks, educational campuses, hospitals and sports venues. The integrated device control solution will embed Simtrol’s OnGuard technology into AxisTV. Through a custom tailored interface, AxisTV administrators will manage the content being delivered and the devices displaying the message. The integrated solution eliminates the challenge faced in digital signage implementations to date – the inability to easily control and monitor the endpoint displays.
