Simtrol Adds Network Management Sales Veteran to Leadership Team

NORCROSS, GA – Simtrol, Inc. (OTCBB: SMRL), an innovative developer of enterprise-class software solutions that manage the extended network of connected devices, today announced that Dave Barry has joined the company as Vice President of Worldwide Sales.

“Dave brings to Simtrol a wealth of sales and business development expertise in the network management software space,” commented Oliver Cooper, Simtrol Chief Executive Officer.  “His proven ability to forge strategic alliances with partners and customers alike will enable us to rapidly accelerate our growth into new markets.”

Mr. Barry has over 20 years of experience selling into large enterprises and global service providers.  Prior to joining Simtrol, he was Vice President of Business Development and International Sales at AlterPoint, where he established strategic alliances with companies including Cisco, EMC, IBM, and BladeLogic.  He has also held senior management positions at Visual Networks, Inverse Network Technology, and Johnson Controls (NYSE: JCI).
