Who We Are

Device Management technology is in a constant state of evolution.

Things started with the advent of desktop computing, when Microsoft pioneered a simple way for users to manage and harness the power of their personal computers.

As Client/Server architecture came to the forefront, firms such as Tivoli (since acquired by IBM) and OpenView (since aquired by Hewlett-Packard) were among the first to offer solutions that efficiently monitored, maintained, deployed, and controlled equipment in data centers and server farms.

The next frontier was the network, which became a mission-critical component of IT ecosystems when companies like Cisco began offering solutions that made networks more powerful and more reliable.

The 21st century has seen a massive proliferation of devices that reside beyond the traditional network.  Simtrol focuses on bringing enterprise-class management technology to this world of the Extended Network.
